1976 plan VAN DE
STADT, Oceaan 25 built
at Poly Boats in Ossendrecht
Comment from Facebook 2020: "The
hull was built in 1976 at Poly Boats in Ossendrecht under guidance of the
designer Cees van Tongeren (Van de Stadt Design). Theun Hoogmoed finished
the boat in 1977 in Zaandam. The boat was around 1,500 kg of which 750kg in
the keel. Her more or less sisterships were 'OCEAAN 4' (that finished 6th
at the 1977 Quarter Ton Cup in Helsinki) and 'OCEAAN 3'. Fred Knitel sailed
a lot of races, but sold her when he was starting a family."
