2015 May, Sgt Pepper is for sale, a chance to buy a heavily optimised 1984 Bolero mk2. This boat is the fastest Bolero out there and is consistently at the top of the fleet. She has been modified over the time in which we have owned her including a new rudder, large IRC friendly double spreader Selden mast with full OneSails inventory and improved deck gear layout. This Bolero is fitted with a high aspect lead keel rather than the standard iron keel, the keel was profiled in 2012, at the same time as this the hull was treated with GelShield epoxy after some very low moisture readings. Since 2010 she has been dry sailed and only used for a maximum of 2 or 3 regattas a year, since 2012 (when the new mast was fitted) she has only been used for two quarter ton cups so the sails are immaculate with only 6 days of racing. Below decks she is bare for racing purposes although a cruising interior was in place when we bought her, this could very easily be restored if required by a new owner making her an ideal dual purpose boat. She is currently owned by the family of her designer and has been a regular on the quarter ton scene however I have had to move to Cornwall for work so have less time to sail her. It is for this reason that we have to sell her on to a new and enthusiastic owner. She would make a great affordable racing boat for someone looking to join the quarter ton fleet. £10000 Offers accepted for a fast sale.
