"Last weekend we sailed the Lenco regatta / DQTC
2014 # 2. On the parking lot outside the marina I found a Nissen 1/4 tonner
called 'Parbleu'. In the back of the boat '1984 IOR design NISSEN' is carved
out. The boat was built at the Yacht- ...und Bootswerft of Günter Knierim
in Laboe, but I think most Nissen boats were built over there.Three Nissen
boats sailed the 1984 QTC in Nieuwpoort. These boats were 'Schowi' (G 3274),
'Attacke' (G 3372) and 'Randale' (G 2004). 'Showi' is called 'Brown Sugar'
at the moment and is based near Hamburg on the River Elbe. 'Randale' was for
sale in the Netherlands some time ago, so 'Parbleu' is probably the old 'Attacke'.
Does anyone have more info? 'Attacke' finished 2nd at the 1986 QTC in Rungsted,
Danmark"

QT Class Facebook: "December 2018 a beautiful wooden
Nissen 1/4 tonner was for sale in Austria. The ad is no longer available so
the boat is probaby sold. Where is she now? Anyone more info?
She was built at Knierim Yachtbau in Kiel (Germany). Builder Günter Knierim
and designer Georg Nissen finished 2nd at the 1986 Quarter Ton Cup in Denmark
as 'Attacke' (G-597) and Thomas Jungblut finished 3rd at the 1988 Quarter
Ton Cup in Germany as 'Polyant' (G-597)."
