2019 Singapore, Picture from Facebook 2021,

2021 December, from Facebook "My Eygthene ¼ tonner in Singapore in 1980s. Six of this cabin version were imported from New Zealand to Singapore in the 1970s by New Zealander Rod Pitt and I bought his from him in 1980. I raced her very successfully in Singapore for 5 years and she was a lovely boat. Narrow water line , flared hull and narrow stern with some weight on the rail to stay flat, gives windward performance chasing on the transom of some ½ tonners. A bit wobbly and unstable in a blow on the run although the blooper helped. Had the keel bottom visible to some opposition occasionally !!. I sold her to a Banker who used her little and abandoned her. She went to degradation on the buoyed mooring outside Changi Sailing Club. The Changi Sailing Club Manager, Edward Yow, couldn’t bear to see a successful racing boat about to sink so he pulled her out of the water, gave her a change of livery and planted her into the Car Park of Changi Sailing Club for posterity. I suppose it’s a half Land fill of a true IOR boat. Must be the iconic IOR Land Fill. !!! I think she’s still there – the photo of me leaning on her in the car park was 2019. The other sailing photo is 1982. I haven’t changed a bit !!!"
