Picture and information from Dutch QT Facebook, Rodney
Pattison: "Delighted
to hear about your ¼ Ton Cup revival. Yes, I did originally own 'Chiquitina'
and understand she has been beautifully restored in Holland. In 1977
I bought her at the Spanish boatyard called Fibrester near Barcelona and trailed
her to the UK. I really liked her flush decked lines. She was/is a beautiful
looking boat, probably the prettiest of all the Quarter Tonners! I removed
the rudder skeg and fitted a balanced rudder instead which improved tacking
and manoeuvrability considerably. I sold her to the Netherlands in 1980"
