2020 4 may, Facebook: "Our planning goes on. Happily this virus has no grip on it.
The general concept of our around the World journey is:
a) Leaving from the Med, we will spend some time on popular cruising areas during the respective high season and will sail from one to the other off-season.
As of now, the calendar will be (northern hemisphere seasons):
Summer 2020: Med; Winter 2020 - 21: Caribbean;
Summer 2021: Southward along the Brazilian coast;
Winter 2021 - 22: Falkland, Patagonia, Chiloe;
Summer 2022 - South Pacific; Winter 2022 - 23 - Australia, Indonesia;
Summer 23 - Back to the Med, route to be defined.
We will race important races of each place where we stop:
RORC 600, Heineken and Antigua sailing week in the Caribbean, Puerto Montt Race (pending confirmation) and in 2023 Sydney - Hobart. It won't be PANDA's first and we are keenest to have her on the start line again.
PANDA will be chartered either by the cabin or the entire vessel. You can buy any number of weeks you want and use those weeks sailing where you prefer to. Say you buy 6 weeks, you can sail 2 on the Caribbean, 2 on Patagonia / Chiloé and 2 on the Pacific, for instance.
Races will have a premium - we will have a racing skipper onboard and will not be there to participate - and "delivery" routes will have a lower price.
You can charter us either for pleasure or corporate communication purposes.
PANDA'S presently under refit in Palma, Mallorca - almost done, thank goodness - and can be visited (as soon as travel restrictions are lifted, naturally)
