2021 March, For Sale Farr Grand Mistral 80, 1996, Built by Mistral Composites this Bruce Farr designed Grand Mistral 80 Maxi One, she has crossed oceans and raced in both Hemispheres. Last sailed competitively in the 2019 Fastnet, she is now looking for her next adventure. She is non VAT paid. Weddel is a sloop sail yacht manufactured by Bruce Farr and launched in 1996. Her exterior is styled by the in-house Farr Yacht Design crew who are also responsible for the entire engineering package. This Farr crafted Grand Mistral has sailed all the oceans, including taking part in the 2015 Rolex Middle Sea Race (finished 33rd overall from 99 entries) and the ARC. Weddell contested the 2017 Cape to Rio race in January, finishing 17th overall, and the Transpac Race in July, placing ninth from nine in Division 1, after sailing almost around the world to start. Her last competitive race was the 2019 Fastnet and shes been rested since then.
