The time has
come for me to put "Flying Ace" up for sale. She is a terrific boat,
and has provided many miles of fun and exciting racing. I don't have the time
now to actively campaign her, and I don't want to see her sitting on the hard
and wasting away. I'm hoping someone out there will put her to good use, maybe
the next Pacific Cup or Singlehanded Transpac, or least some exhilerating trips
around the Farallons, up and down the coast, and around the Bay! Basic info:
• Pierre Rolland design, • The hull was built at Atlantix in Montreal,
• The keel, foils, boom & sprit were built at Latitude48 in Brest,
France. • The recent carbon mast is from Forte. • She does have
a HIN and is currently registered in Californie. She's located in Alameda, CA.
Price $41,000. Email me for more specs and photos. Mike

2014 August, For Sale Location: Cleveland, OH, USA, Price: $29,990.00, This is a nice Mini 6.5 built at Atlantix, Montreal Canada by Damien De Pas, who placed 19th out of 28 boats in the 2001 Mini-Transat from La Rochelle France to Salvador BA, Brazil. This strong and reliable boat has a glass hull with carbon reinforcements. Canting keel in carbon. Dual daggerboards in carbon. Carbon mast (2007, refinished 2010). A full set of 8 sails; main, 2 jibs, gennaker w/ furler, large spin, small spin and storm sails, good condition. PBO rigging (2008), NKE gyropilot 2, also a Raymarine ST400 autopilot. Furuno GPS, Raymarine VHF, LED masthead tricolor (2007), Tohatsu 3.5HP (2007), Aluminum trailer, custom bunks, disk brakes (2007), The boat has not been raced since 2008. A job change prevents me from having enough sailing time. This is a great opportunity to buy an affordable Mini 6.5 and get started in single-handed open ocean sailing on a reliable boat, or to simply cruise sailing faster than much bigger boats.
