2003 Mise à l'eau

"En début d'année 1999, le bruit court qu'un maxi trimaran est en cours de construction à Hawaï et qu'il pourrait participer à The Race, la course autour du monde en équipage, sur des multicoques, imaginée par Bruno Peyron. Le bateau ne sera pas au départ. Il faudra attendre fin 2003, pour que son designer/constructeur Earl Edwards, termine la plate forme et qu'elle soit mise à l'eau. Steve Fosset donnera une voile de son maxi catamaran Cheyenne pour participer amicalement à l'aventure. 10 ans après la mise à l'eau, la construction n'a quasiment pas avancée. Et Earl Edwards est décédé en avril 2014. Ses amis continueraient l'aventure..."

The late Earl Edwards was a MIT Graduate Engineer, and prolific Inventor, co- owner, and builder, Jodi Gardner, is ready to complete the project. The plans were documented by Antrim & Associates, who also acted as Consultants. She made of E Glass and Carbon Fiber, and can be used for racing, or for charter, you decide.
