FOR SALE GBR-2769R "PER ELISA", Per Elisa is the last iteration
of the Half Ton prototype, designed by Giovanni Ceccarelli, built for the
1992 IOR Half Ton Cup, finishing second. She was redesigned by Giovanni to
move from a IOR to a IRC design for 2014; based on his original drawings using
fluid dynamic and VPP/rating analysis the sailplan was updated, stern faired
to reduce hull drag and a low drag high lift keel and rudder combination designed.
The design drawings were analysed by Richard Oliver at AStA Ltd Southampton
to produce the structural drawings for: keel, rudder & stock, floors,
internal frames, chainplates and deck reinforcement to take the increased
loads of the new design. From the original design with large open cockpit,
she has been extensively modified: with CNC keel built by Irons Brothers,
rig moved aft with internal and deck reinforcement, very light carbon composite
rudder & stock including bearing, fitted with Jefa bearings. Sliding fore
hatch for spinnaker launching, new carbon mast for 2017 with single backstay
fitted to reinforced deck and extended cockpit. Refinished deck, topsides
and anti-foul August 2021. She is of light composite construction at 2280kg
with 261kg internal ballast and has won many races in the Half Ton Cup since
1992 in Spain finishing 2nd , to the last HTCC in 2018 in Nieupoort finishing
3rd and is a very competitive IRC yacht and obvious contender for HTCC Cowes
2022. Lying in Falmouth, £46000 including road trailer. It's time to
let some one else sail this fantastic yacht.
