1984 June, delivered to Britannia Royal Naval College Dartmouth
Comment from David Salter, received in January 2016: "I was on the staff of Britannia Royal Naval College Dartmouth and managed and sailed the College racing yacht crewed by Midshipmen as a major sport.  We placed the order for "Amaryllis" around Christmas 1983 and she was delivered to us just completed in June 1984 at Levington Marina on the River Orwell near Ipswich.  We sailed her down to Portsmouth over a weekend and then immediately took part in the Services Offshore Regatta.  Amaryllis won her 1st race, overall winner in the Solent inshore race, and achieved 2nd in the offshore to Guernsey, helping win the regatta for the Royal Navy team.  I left BRNC immediately after this but she had a number of successful races in the Dartmouth area for the rest of the summer term.  I was lucky enough to be on leave and be able skipper her at the end of the summer season winning IOR division in Dartmouth Regatta, the first time a local boat had achieved this in over 20 years. Oyster did not have a boat spare and borrowed her back from us for the for the 1985 Boat Show"

1985 "Amaryllis of Dart" was the London Boat Show boat in January 1985
