2019 March, For Sale, Designed by Kel Steinman as a late model IOR 3/4 Ton offshore racer and launched in 1986 as Chris's Choice, this yacht had a very successful race career including a divisional second place in the 1987 Sydney to Hobart. Built to last in Kevlar composites, she is immensely strong and very stiff so you can race her hard with confidence. These days she is a good performing club racer with plenty of room on deck and some comforts for basic overnight accomodation. Her rigging was recently replaced and she has a good wardrobe of reasonably recent sails plus a range of older sails so you wont need to dip into your pockets there for a while. She is powered by a Volvo Penta 28hp diesel with hydraulic drive and a 3 blade folding propeller. Electronics include North Star Log, Speed, Depth and Wind plus a VDO GPS and Chart Plotter, a Simrad Tiller Autopilot and an Icom VHF transceiver.
