Material i skrov Kallbakat trä - The Swedish yacht designer Peter
Norlin (1941-2012) produced many legendary, cruising and racing yacht designs
including the ‘three-quarter ton’ class rating Amoress in 1975.
Amoress , built by Lennart Minnegard & Arne Johnsson at Spillersboda Vara,
Stockholm for Bo Andersson has a outstanding racing pedigree, participating
in countless regattas and was, at the time the boat to beat, particularly upwind
in heavy weather. Maintained in exceptional original condition Amoress is of
cold moulded mahogany construction, bright finished inside and out, clearly
showing her fine construction. A well built and presented three-quarter ton
racer in long ownership used for annual family cruising and regatta sailing.

from Markus Norlin, "Amoress
II was the one placing well in the 1975 and 1976 TQTC. Amoress I did well in
1975 but had several gear failures and also less professional crew. Both these
yacths are still sailing in Sweden."

December 2020, received from Markus
Norlin, "At the time, there was another
yacht built in Scotland from the same design but don’t know much
about that one. There was also a yacht to the same design (however with
fractional rig) built by Goetz in the US for Bob Barton called Country Woman
but don’t have more information than that."
