November from Sailscapes Website: "The Farr 1104 is a legendary yacht from the designer Bruce Farr who still rates the Farr 1104 one of the best yachts he ever designed.
Farrgo Express is a New Zealand built Farr 1104 and so has a slightly bigger rig and keel than the Australian Farr’s, Sailescapes DA Vinci Charters brought her over from Australia in 2013 after she received a new rig and no expense has been spared bringing the yacht right up to and beyond her original specification. She has been stripped back and faired, all new winches, new electronics, new clutches, wind instruments and a Tack Tick Race Master combined with top of the range North Carbon Sails has resulted in a yacht that can still compete in light winds but in stronger breezes of 15 knots plus is practically unstoppable.
Since the refit she has entered 10 regatta’s she has the enviable record of never finishing off podium with final results of 7 3rd Place finishes, 3 2nd places and 1st.
Farrgo Express is an easy to sail, fast, fun and well maintained yacht that can compete in IRC 2, 3, 4, performance cruising or Modern Classic divisions.
