For saleRowdy Too (Ex-Beau Geste) is a Botin design from 2015, built
at Cookson Boats, NZ in 2015. An IRC and ORCi World Champion, with taller rig
(+600mm) and new 2020 keel fin (3.65m) and bulb package from Botin, put this
boat right at the front of the rating game! Increased structure below deck,
reefing capability and high spec hardware throughout, make this an ideal contender
on both the inshore and offshore circuits. Full North 3di quiver of sails and
bang up to date cosmetics make this the boat to have for a serious campaigner.
This is a 2015 Botin designed, Super Series hull, taken off the SLED mold and
built at the Cookson boat yard in conjunction with the Beau Geste team. Full
carbon pre-preg construction, which was upgraded to foam core in the hull with
a nomex deck and extra longitudinal's strengtheners added in the bow for offshore
racing. Designed structurally to sail offshore races such as Sydney to Hobart,
Fastnet, Transpac. Special care has been taken to make the boat water tight. In
2020 we built in conjunction with Botin Partners and Wilmar Composites a new
fin and bulb and inshore rudder. This is Botin's 2019 design, which is 150mm
longer in the fin and bulb weight 4575kg with a composite fairing, ie a shell
on the fin. The boat also comes with a offshore rudder. The boat has the option
to drive with tiller or wheels. Wheels, tiller and extension included.2019 IRC:
1.414 (New, fully endorsed IRC certificate)
