race yacht “Stay Calm” was built in 2006 by Goetz Custom Boats RI,
USA. Designed by Farr Yacht Design for the with Med and US TP 52 competitions.
Farr design #597 was designed and built beyond typical Med Cup standards,
this Goetz-built TP52 is an all-purpose design, capable and proven to race in
any off-shore conditions. “Stay Calm” was launched in 2006 and immediately
won key West Race Week and continued to show great performance at Global Championships
and med Cup series. The current yacht has been optimised for IRC ratings including
custom bowsprit designed to fly code zero with a working load of 6000 kgs, strengthened
bow section and new runner system. In 2016 the keel frame was rebuilt and strengthened.
The current owner who is in the rigging industry has replaced the carbon mast
in 2019 with rod rigging and all new running rigging in Lancelin Dyneema 78
and 99 with Technora covers. 12 months was spent preparing the yacht for the
2019 Sydney Hobart and they boast having the driest TP52 in Australia! This
is a very race winning capable TP52 in Sydney and ready for immediate sale.
