2009 Active in Southern California racing, Jim Madden has made it public that he has acquired two distinguished Transpac 52s, the former “Mean Machine” winner of the 2006 Mediterranean Cup (“Med Cup”), and the former “Pisco Sour,” winner of the 2005 Med Cup. Both yachts, currently in Spain, are undergoing preparations for transfer to their new home base in Southern California.
