2022 For Sale Locomotion 2, Hawaii based, 2005 JV design built by Neville Hutton for John Cook and originally called Cristabella. The current owner is her fourth. The boat was in Australia without being used for about 5 years until the current owner bought and rehabbed her about 6 years ago. Once in Hawaii she had limited use and then Covid stalled everything and changed the owners plans, so now she is for sale. Very nice bottom, Ferrari Red, rebuilt keel box and structure to stiffen boat designed by naval architect Jim Donavan. He also lead the rebuild team. We set the Maui to Honolulu race record on this boat – “Maui and return” and the Honolulu to Kauai “Kauai Channel Race” record. Boat just completely repainted, bottom, top, and sides with IRC optimized sprit. Standing rigging was replaced 6 years ago, all instruments B&G in good working condition, last generation. Bulb reshaped. Boat is close to Transpac Ready with watermaker and rafts and most safety equipment. A good pile of medium grade sails from different lofts.
US $140,000 as is, where is (Hawaii) !!!
