Second in the Big Boat Series was Karl Kwok’s “Beau Geste”. Originally built for the 2003 Transpac Race, this was the first event that the boat sailed inshore. She was originally going to compete in the Chicago Mac Race but her mast was broken on the truck delivery. “Big Boat” was her only class event for the season.
